Use the move function when you want move services from one service order to another - for example if you have mistakenly scheduled February services in your January service order.

 

  • The order you move the service(s) to may already exist, or you can opt for a new order to be created to move the services to.

  • Moving services to separate orders enables you to streamline your clients' orders so that different services with possibly different payment terms are kept and can be easily invoiced together.

 

How do I Move one or more Services to a new or different Service Order?

            ON DESKTOP:

Navigate to Clients > Orders & Invoices > click on the service order

STEP 1​​​

  • Select the service(s) to be moved by checking the boxes on the left of the service order.

  • Click "Move...".

STEP 2

  • A dialogue box will appear asking you to choose either an existing order from the dropdown, or to create a "New Order".

    • In this example, we have chosen to move the services into the existing service order called "Dog Walking February" because they were accidentally schedule in the "Dog Walking January" order.

    • If you select "New Order", a new service order will automatically be created to hold the moved services. You can enter an order label if you'd like, or the default order label will be "Service Order."

  • Click "Move Services".​

STEP 3

  • The services have been moved out of the original service order and into the selected order.

ON MOBILE:

STEP 1

  • Tap the Navigator and select Clients > Search

STEP 2

  • Navigate to your client's account from the Clients search page.

  • In the left-side navigation pane, tap "Orders & Invoices".

STEP 3

  • Tap on the order label to open the service order that holds the services you want to move.

  • Select the service(s) you want to move by tapping on the box to the left of the service(s).

    • If you need to move all services in the service order, there is an "All" checkbox above the services.​ Tap "All" to select all services.

  • In this example, we will move two February walks (Tues/Thurs) into an existing service order called "Dog Walking February".​

  • Once the services are selected, tap the "Actions" drop-down button.​

  • Tap "Move...".

STEP 4

  • A dialogue box will open. From the "Order" drop-down menu, select an available service order you'd like to move the selected services into, and then tap "Done". In this case, we have selected the service order "Dog Walking February".

    • Services can only be moved into an un-invoiced service order in Quote status or into a new order.

  • Enter an "Order Label" if you would like to name the service order you are moving your services to. 

  • Tap "Move Services".

STEP 5

  • The services are now moved into the selected service order. 

  • Immediately after they are moved, you'll see a message telling you "X services moved", "X" being the number of services you selected to be moved.
