You may want to make a repeat service inactive if you want to temporarily suspend it. If, for example, a client used to have their dog walked regularly on Monday and Friday lunchtime, but now has the dog walked at lunchtime every weekday, you may want to make the first repeat service inactive and create a new one for all weekday lunchtimes. Then, if the client reverts to having their dog walked only on a Monday and Friday, you can change the repeat service for this back to active, and change the weekday walking repeat service to inactive to avoid scheduling these services in error.

How do I Make a Repeat Service Inactive?​

            ON DESKTOP:

Navigate to Clients > Repeat Services

STEP 1​​​

  • When you click on REPEAT SERVICES tab, the screen will default to the first repeat service that appears in the "Active" panel on the left. Click the repeat service you wish to make "inactive" if it is not the first one.

  • Uncheck the box for "Active". This means it will no longer be "active" but "inactive".

  • Click "Update".

  • The inactive service will then appear greyed-out in the list in the panel on the left. To make the repeat service active again. click on the greyed-out Inactive service, toggle on the "Active" button, and click "Update Service".

ON MOBILE:

STEP 1

  • Tap the Navigator and select Clients > Search

STEP 2

  • Navigate to your client's account from the Clients search page.

  • In the left-side navigation pane, tap "Repeat Services" then tap "Manage Services".

STEP 3

  • Tap on the repeat service you want to make inactive. 

  • In this example, the client only has one repeat service - a Mon, Wed, Fri dog walk. 

STEP 4

​​

  • Scroll to the bottom of the repeat service page. 

  • Tap the "Active" button to toggle it OFF. It will "grey-out". 

  • Then tap "Update Service". 

  • The client's repeat service will no longer show on the Repeat Services report on Scheduler > Repeat Services so that it will not be scheduled in the future. 

  • To make the repeat service active again, toggle ON the "Active" button then tap "Update Service".
