<      Service Requests < Create new requests associated with a service order

 

 

It is sometimes necessary to add new service requests to other requests that have already been assigned to a service order. For instance, perhaps a client initially requested dog walks Mon-Wed. You then assigned the requests to a service order and began the process of confirming the walker's availability for Mon-Wed. But then your client contacted you via direct email, text or phone to tell you about their additional service requests - dog walks on Thurs and Fri.

 

You can add these new service requests to the original requests that are already associated with an order. With the “Add Request” function, you can add requests to an existing list of requests as required.

 

How do I create job requests that are associated with a service order? 

           ON DESKTOP:

Navigate to Clients > Service Requests

STEP 1​​​

  • Click on the order with assigned requests. In this example, you would click on "Spring Vacation."

  • Click the "Add Request..." button.

​STEP 3

  • Add the details of the new requests, and click "Add Service Requests" when complete.

​STEP 4

 

  • The new service requests have been added to the requests that were already assigned to a service order. All of the service requests for the client are displayed on the client's Service Requests page.

​STEP 5

 

  • The service requests are also displayed on the client's Orders page... in an assigned service order.

​STEP 6

 

  • The service requests are also on the main (company) Service Requests page (Scheduler > Service Requests).

  • Click on "12 service requests" to process the request.

ON MOBILE:

STEP 1

  • Tap the Navigator and select Clients > Search

STEP 2

  • Navigate to your client's account from the Clients search page.

  • In the left-side navigation pane, tap "Service Requests".

STEP 3

  • Tap on the order with assigned requests. In this example, you would tap on "Spring Vacation."

STEP 4

  • Tap the "Actions" button.

  • Then tap "Add Request...".

STEP 5

  • Add the details of the new requests, then tap "Add Service Requests" when complete.

  • In this example, we are adding an Overnight service on 03/28/2020 to the already-requested services assigned to the "Spring Vacation" service order.

STEP 6

  • The new service requests have been added to the requests that were already assigned to a service order. All of the service requests for the client are displayed on the client's Service Requests page.

STEP 7

  • On the client's Orders & Invoices page, you'll see the assigned service order called "Spring Vacation" with all 12 requests assigned to it. 

  • Once you schedule these requests, you'll see the dates of service below the order label rather than "12 Requests", the order will be in "Quote" status (un-invoiced), and the total due for the services will be displayed.

STEP 8

  • The service requests will also show on the main (company) Service Requests page on Scheduler > Service Requests.

  • Tap "12 service requests" to process the request.
