Pet Sitter Plus supports the production of Credit Notes and Debit Notes. The Credit/Debit Notes Report provides a list of all "open" or un-committed credit notes or debit notes.
What is an "Uncommitted" Credit Note?
Credit notes are generated by Pet Sitter Plus when services are cancelled that have previously been included on an invoice. Cancelling a previously invoiced service (or reducing its value in some way) will prompt the system to "auto generate" a credit note that will then be associated with the original invoice. See Credit Notes and Debit Notes for more information on this subject.
A credit note will remain open (or "uncommitted") until "committed" by the user in one of three ways:
-
from the Service Order or
-
from the Invoice (Credit/Debit Notes page) or
-
from the Credit/Debit Notes Report (see below for details)
What is an "Uncommitted" Debit Note?
Debit notes are generated by Pet Sitter Plus when services that have previously been included on an invoice are increased in value. This will prompt the system to "auto generate" a debit note that will then be associated with the original invoice. For more information see Credit Notes and Debit Notes.
A debit note will remain open (or "uncommitted") until "committed" by the user in one of two ways:
-
from the Service Order or
-
from the Invoice (Credit/Debit Notes page) or
-
from the Credit/Debit Notes Report (see below for details).
