Once you have created a service order and sent the quote to your client for approval, there may be changes to the services that your client wishes to make and they may request you send them another quote for approval.

 

How do I Edit a Quote?

            ON DESKTOP:

Navigate to Clients > Orders & Invoices

STEP 1​​​

  • From the client's orders screen, identify the order you wish to view the quote for by its name, or the service dates.

  • Click the blue link with the word "Quote" in the "Invoice" column to view the quote.

STEP 2

  • To edit the quote, you'll need to make changes to the service order that your client has requested. See Editing a Service Order for more explanation of how to do this.

  • To access the service order from the Quote screen, click the link to the service order, below the word "Quote".

    • The link to the service order is called by default "Order" but if you added a service order label, the link to the order will display the service order label. In the screenshot below, you would click "Dog Walking January" to access the service order for the quote and make your changes there.

  • Once the order has been changed, navigate back to the Orders & Invoices screen, and click on the word "Quote" of the changed service order. Or simply use the orange "Back" button in PSP.

  • Your quote will automatically include the changes you made to the order and can be emailed again to the client. See Sending a Quote to a Client for more explanation of how to do this.

ON MOBILE:

STEP 1

  • Tap the Navigator and select Clients > Search

STEP 2

  • Navigate to your client's account from the Clients search page.

  • In the left-side navigation pane, tap "Orders & Invoices".

STEP 3

  • From the client's orders screen, identify the order you wish to view the quote for by its name, or the service dates.

  • Tap the blue link with the word "Quote" in the "Invoice" column to view the quote.

STEP 4

  • View the contents of the Quote here, including the Day and Date of service, the description of the service, and the client charge and staff compensation.

  • To edit the Quote, tap the link to the associated services order. By default, the link will say "Order". But if you have entered a label for the service order, then click the service order label. In this example, the link to the service order reads "Dog Walking February".

  • Once in the service order, make your necessary changes. See Editing a Service Order for more explanation of how to do this.

  • Use the orange "Back" button to return to the Quote. 

STEP 5

  • Tap the Navigator icon to access more options for the quote, including "Email Quote" and "Create invoice".
