You can add as many keys as you like for your clients. If you don't have one already, it is a good idea to create a referencing or numbering system for the keys you hold on behalf of your clients. This not only helps your administrators keep track of your keys which can be many in quantity, but can also be a requirement of your insurance policy so it is worth checking that.

 

How do I Add a New Key?

 

ON DESKTOP:

Navigate to Clients > Client Admin > Keys

STEP 1​​​

  • Click "+ New Key"

  • Enter the "Name" and "Reference" in line with your organization's procedures.

  • Click "Create Key"

STEP 2

  • A pop-up message confirms the key has been created.

  • The key details are displayed and you can now enter a "Description".

  • NOTE: it is only the Name and Reference that will be visible in the Key Management Report.

  • Click "Update".

ON MOBILE:

STEP 1

  • Tap the Navigator and select Clients > Search

STEP 2

  • Navigate to your client's account from the Clients search page.

  • In the left-side navigation pane, tap "Client Admin", then tap "Keys".

STEP 3

  • Tap the button "+ New Key".

STEP 4

  • In the "Name" field, assign a name to the key. For instance, "Front Door" or "Side Door" or "Gate Key".

  • Enter the key Reference from your business' key referencing or numbering system.

  • The key Name and Reference will show on the Key Management report.

  • Tap "Create Key".
