How do I find a Client using Filters?

 

You can use filters so that only clients matching certain criteria are displayed on your client list. For example, you can display all clients who are located in a specified area or for whom a given member of staff is the primary sitter. The screenshot below demonstrates how you can display a subset of your clients using the filters on the search screen.

 

There are a number of fields which can be used to filter clients, as follows:

  • Client Type

  • Payment Type

  • Area

  • Staff Team

  • Referral Source

  • Primary Sitter

  • Tax Rate

ON DESKTOP:

Navigate to CLIENTS 

 
STEP 1

  • On the right side of the screen, you'll see a "Filters" box. You can select a segment of clients against any of the options showing, eg. by Referral Source.

    • You can choose a combination of filters, eg. by Area - anyone living in Jacksonville, and by Referral Source - who saw your Logo on Vehicles. This could help you establish whether a promotional campaign worked.

    • If you haven't set up any of the filters, eg. if you don't use the Tax Rate or you don't set Client Types, it won't show in this list.

    • NOTE: You must have applied these options to your client records first (client's Settings page) for these filters to find them in this search!

  • Click the "Go" button to apply your new filters to your client list.

 

STEP 2

  • To see the client's record, click on their First or Last Name from the list. 

  • To include Inactive clients in your search, click the box for "Include inactive clients" in the Filters box on the right 

How do I reload the Clients and reset the Filters?

 

  • When you have finished working with your filtered client list, click "Reset" to remove the filtered selections.

  • Click "Reload" to ensure that all active client records are displayed.

  • To see the client's record, click on their First or Last Name from the list. 

ON MOBILE:

STEP 1

  • Tap the Navigator, and select Clients > Search 

STEP 2

  • Tap the "Filters" button.

  • Select any of the options showing in the Filters list, eg. Area.

    • You can choose a combination of filters, eg. by Area - anyone living in Jacksonville, and by Referral Source - who saw your Logo on Vehicles. This could help you establish whether a promotional campaign worked.

STEP 4

  • Close out of the Filters box by tapping the "X" in the upper right-hand corner, then tap "Go" to apply your new filters to your client list.
