< Client Management < Emailing All or Selected Clients

You can email clients from the client search screen if you are using Custom SMTP on your Pet Sitter Plus system. See Using Custom SMTP to learn more about this topic. If you are operating Custom SMTP, then you will see a checkbox to the left of each client listed on the search screen, and an "Email..." button above this column of checkboxes.

You can refine your client list to display all clients, or you can select a particular set of clients that you want to send an email to. Alternatively, see Find a Client Using Filters to see how you can select a particular sub-set of your clients.

 

How do I email All Clients?

 

 ON DESKTOP:

Navigate to CLIENTS

STEP 1

  • Click on the magnifying glass ("Go" button) to view all clients.

  • Click the top "All" checkbox to select all clients.

  • Click the "Email..." button.

How do I email Selected Clients?

 

  • Click the checkbox alongside the clients you wish to email, or use the Filters to select a particular sub-set of clients.

  • Click the "Email..." button.

STEP 2

  • Choose the email template you wish to use, or select the Blank template to type your own text, including any merge codes that suit your message.

 

Pet Sitter Plus provides you with a set of email templates to cover various aspects of your business. If you don't find a suitable template in the drop-down list, and want to create one now, click Email Templates to find out more about creating your own templates that suit your pet sitting business. In this example, we have used the Welcome Email, used to introduce clients to the client portal.

  • When finished, click "Email Clients".

  • Once you have sent your welcome email to all or selected clients, it will look something like the example below.

  • Once the email has been sent, a record of the date, time and subject of the email is created in the client LOGS. The client Logs provides you a detailed history of all correspondence sent to clients through your system.

ON MOBILE:

STEP 1

  • Tap the Navigator and select Clients > Search

STEP 2

  • To email all clients. first tap on the magnifying glass ("Go" button) to view all clients.

  • Then tap the top "All" checkbox to select all clients.

  • Tap the "Email..." button.

Or, ​

  • To email only selected clients, tap on the magnifying glass ("Go" button) to view all clients.

    • Alternatively, you could sort your clients by "Filters"​ or by the first letter of their last name.

  • Tap the checkbox next to the clients whom you would like to email.

  • Tap the "Email..." button.

  • Choose the email template you wish to use, or select the Blank template to type your own text, including any merge codes that suit your message.

  • To access the client's Logs, tap the Navigator, then select "Client Admin" and then "Logs" from the nav pane. 

  • On the Logs page, tap "Messages" to view the emails that have been sent to this client.
