The Account Summary is a document that lists all outstanding invoices on a client's account as well as the total amount due. You may want to download the Account Summary so you can mail it to you client or to simply make sure that it is displaying the correct account balance. ​

 

How do I Download the Client's Account Summary PDF?​

            ON DESKTOP:

Navigate to Clients > Orders & Invoices

STEP 1​​​

  • First, navigate to the client's quote or invoice page.

  • From the client's orders screen, identify the order you wish to view the quote/invoice for by its name, or the service dates.

  • Click "Invoice No." or "Quote" as appropriate to display the invoice or quote details screen. See Finding an Order for more help.

    • Service orders which have been invoiced will have "Invoice No." and the invoice number written next to them.

    • Service orders yet to be invoiced will have "Quote" written next to them. See Convert a Quote into an Invoice for more help on this topic.

STEP 2

  • In the left side navigation pane, click "Summary" (if you clicked on a Quote) or "Summary & Downloads" (if you clicked on an Invoice).

  • Then click "Account Summary PDF".

STEP 3

 

  • A copy of the Account Summary PDF will be downloaded to your PC so it can be clicked and read in Adobe Acrobat Reader or a similar PDF viewer. It can then be printed out for your records or to hand to your client.

 

Here is an example of how the account summary might appear in its PDF format.

ON MOBILE:

STEP 1

  • Tap the Navigator and select Clients > Search

STEP 2

  • Navigate to your client's account from the Clients search page.

  • In the left-side navigation pane, tap "Orders & Invoices".

STEP 3

  • From the client's orders screen, identify the order you wish to download the Account Summary for by its name, or the service dates.

  • Tap the blue link with the word "Quote" in the "Invoice" column to view the quote.

  • If an invoice has already been created for the order, you can click "Invoice No." rather than "Quote".

STEP 4

  • Tap the Navigator, then tap "Summary".

    • If you clicked "Invoice No." on the Orders screen above, then you'll see "Summary & Downloads" in the menu.

STEP 5

  • Tap "Account Summary PDF".

  • A copy of the Account Summary PDF will be downloaded to your mobile device so it can be clicked and read in Adobe Acrobat Reader or a similar PDF viewer. It can then be printed out for your records or to hand to your client.
