How does Stripe Automatically Receipt Client Payments?

 

When your client makes a payment to you via Stripe using the "Pay now" link on the Account Summary screen in the Client Portal, Pet Sitter Plus detects that this payment has been made and automatically posts a receipt to the appropriate client record. An example of an automatically posted receipt is shown in the screenshot below. Note that the receipt is labeled "Receipt (Auto: Stripe)".
 

PLEASE NOTE that there is no email confirmation to you or your client from Pet Sitter Plus when an automatic receipt is posted, as confirmation of the transaction is sent to both parties by Stripe. Please see Making a Payment via Stripe for more information on Stripe receipts and notifications.
